The Grove presents Wild Camping Adventures July 20 - 24, 2026! Enjoy a week of mad science experiments, setting up tents, and the outdoors!
Licking/Knox Goodwill is proud to present Wild Camping Adventures as part of The Grove Academy program offered at The Grove by the River on Hollander Street in Newark, Ohio.
Mad Scientists - perform science experiments while enjoying the great outdoors with a week of Wild Camping Adventures. Campers learn to pitch a tent, play field day games, sing camp songs, play games, and enjoy the great outdoors!
This camp includes a day of fishing at a stocked pond off-site.
When? July 20-24, 2026
- Early Drop Off: 7:30 am - 8:30 am
- Drop Off: 8:30 am – 9:00 am
- Activities: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Regular Pickup: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
- Late Pickup: 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Who Can Participate? Age 5 - 13
Lunch: Snacks and lunch will be offered during camp. Picky eaters or those with specific dietary needs should plan to pack a lunch with a cold pack. We will not be providing custom lunches. Please check with your child to ensure they eat what is planned on the menu.
- Monday - Pancakes with Sausage
- Tuesday - Cheese Quesadilla with Tortilla Chips
- Wednesday - Hamburger Helper (Mac and Cheese with Hamburger)
- Thursday - Hot Dog and Mashed Potatoes
- Friday - Cheese Pizza
