The Hero's Journey

Napa Valley College's Community Education is offered throughout the Napa Valley with administrative offices located in St. Helena at the Upper Valley Campus. The program is comprised of workshops, fee-based classes, noncredit (no-fee) classes, educational trips and tours, special events, and short-term vocational training programs. Enjoy a variety of classes to choose from in subject areas such as the arts, writing, culinary arts, gardening/outdoors, computer literacy, modern languages and ESL.

In person, affordable, writing and transformational classes through the Upper Valley Campus in St. Helena.

A Hero's Journey is an 8-module internet-based multimedia and interactive program for personal growth and transformation. Each of the 8 modules consists of lessons supported by videos, transcripts, exercises, detailed documents to guide you through the process, an online and/or offline journaling ability, and extensive bibliographies for further learning. All of these materials can be downloaded so that you will have a written chronicle of your journey when completed. The course is asynchronous which means students can do the work of the course in their own time. A $35 materials fee will be due to the instructor.
