Most summer solstice gatherings celebrate the brightness. This one slows down into the threshold. The fullness of what has grown this year. The honest grief of what is releasing. Both held at once, without flinching from either.
This is the work of The Sovereign Sun.
We gather in a small circle of eight. The ceremony opens with sage cleansing and an invocation of the four directions. We share ceremonial cacao — pure, intentionally sourced, prepared with reverence. A plant medicine that gently opens the heart and quiets what is loud in us.
From that open place, we journey.
Guided by rhythmic drumming, you will move beneath the surface of ordinary awareness into the imaginal realm — the place where your own deepest knowing lives. You will return with something real.
