Join us on the last Tuesday of each month (April–September) for a colorful afternoon!
Start at 5 p.m. with tie-dye—bring a fabric item to personalize—then enjoy a peaceful hike at 6 p.m. to soak in nature.
Weather permitting— shine only. Perfect opportunity to add to your Miles for Maryland tally!
Suggested $5 cash donation to the Friends of Seneca Creek State Park for supplies.

Kick off the evening with a colorful tie-dye session! Bring a fabric item (such as a t-shirt, bandana, or tote bag) and learn simple techniques to create your own vibrant design. All dye supplies will be provided. A suggested $5 cash donation to the Friends of Seneca Creek State Park helps cover materials.

Guided Hike
Join a Park Ranger for a relaxed guided hike through Seneca Creek State Park. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the park in the evening while exploring local trails. Hikes will cover about 2 miles, with adjustments as needed for the interest and ability of the group. Please bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes. This hike is a great way to add miles to your Miles for Maryland Trail Challenge tally.
