Together in Creativity -What I’m Carrying Into the Dark: A Night Journal
A year of art, moonlight, community, and creative expression—honoring the circular cycles of nature and our role within them.
Join us for monthly upcycled art workshops designed for adults to create, reflect, and connect. Each workshop aligns with the seasons and lunar rhythms, using reclaimed and natural materials to keep creativity accessible and zero-waste.
Enjoy a beer or wine while you create—drink proceeds support Envision Charlotte. Soda and juice are also available, with proceeds supporting Change Please Coffee, a nonprofit helping individuals experiencing homelessness.
As the Corn Moon approaches, participants create a simple upcycled night journal and reflect on what they’re carrying forward into the darker months. Optional constellation-style drawings help map moments, experiences, and energy from the season.
Moon Reference: Corn Moon (September 26)
What Happens: Participants create a simple upcycled night journal and reflect quietly under the stars. Optional constellation-style drawings map moments and experiences from the season.
