Trail Keepers: Master Rain Garden Certification Course
Learn how to design and install rain gardens! Free and open to the public, limited spots available.
Learn how to design and install rain gardens that manage stormwater and support native ecosystems!
Join us at Eliza Howell Park for a hands-on course where you will learn how to assess sites, select plants, and install a functioning rain garden. This course combines practical skills with real-world application, giving you the opportunity to help build a rain garden in the park.
Participants who complete the full series will earn a Rain Garden Certification and leave with the knowledge and confidence to apply these skills in their own communities.
Workshops will take place at Eliza Howell Park at Pavilion #1. Sessions will begin on time, and participants must attend three out of four workshops to receive a certificate of completion.
This course is offered free of charge by Huron Clinton Metroparks.
