Mountain biking requires riders to confront their fears, biases, and preconceived notions: we know what it feels like to be fearful, uncomfortable, and out of our element while on a ride. While we believe that everyone's barriers should be respected, we know that mutual support will help get us past those barriers. We must boost each other up and push ourselves to improve both on and off the bike. NWTA wants a world where everyone feels welcome, safe, and free in the outdoors. All volunteers and participants in NWTA events are held to ourCode of Conduct and Ethics.Some Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) programs, events, and activities require registration fees. Refunds will be issued in full for registration fee refund requests received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the event start date and time. A partial refund of 50% will be issued for registration fee refund requests received after seven (7) days and up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the event. Get ready to embark on a cycling adventure like no other! Join us on a thrilling series of group bicycle. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just dusting off your old bike, there's a ride for you in this exciting collection.

Join Trail Sisters for an intermediate-level ride through Forest Park the morning after Thanksgiving!This ride is open to women; cis, trans, nonbinary.Meet:At Cyclepath West at 10 a.m. and roll out by 10:30 a.m. (If you drive, please don't park in the Cyclepath lot.)Bring:A ready-to-roll gravel/cyclocross bike with knobby 35c/40c tires for maximum fun, but hardtail mountain bikes are also great for this terrain. Full suspension mountain bikes might be a bit heavy, but bring what ya got!Also, bring the standard stuff to keep you safe and comfy: helmet, gloves, layers, fenders, water, snacks, clear-lens glasses, extra tube, pump, multi-tool.Prep:Please do any bike-maintenance checks prior to arriving (lube chain, top up on sealant, pump up tires, check brakes, tighten bolts, test shifting).Once registered, please sign the waiver<a href="https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/60e8ab3c70a43/web/" title="https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/60e8ab3c70a43/web/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> HERE</a>Ride:About 1,400 ft of climbing over about 16 miles. This is a no-drop ride but there may be groups that split up a little depending on who's feeling peppy and who's feeling chill :) We will always regroup at natural stopping points.This is an intermediate-fitness ride, so please assess your ability level honestly.
