AITG Summer Workshops 2023

2023 is our 10th anniversary! Join us for our events and workshops this summer sure to bring out your inner artist! We hope you will join us!

<h2>This workshop will take place on June 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23 from 1pm to 4pm each day at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. </h2><h3>Join Erin Achauer, an LMU Art student and Artist, for this 5-day workshop. Participants will combine song lyrics, original poetry, and different media to create art. Students will create three pieces; the first being a self-portrait comprised of a favorite song lyric, abstract painting, and images from magazines they feel represent them. The second, is another self-portrait made up of an original poem, abstract painting, and images from magazines. The third is about a poem you pick out yourself to create a collage or abstract painting with. We will go over the basics of haikus, “A B A B” rhyme scheme poetry, and free verse poetry as well as abstract painting techniques and multimedia collage composition. So come create some unique pieces of art of your very own!</h3><h3>This workshop will be held in person at the LMU Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.
