Guarding Your Thought Life

In Guarding Your Thought Life, participants will journey through an eight-week virtual Bible study designed to teach Christ followers how to biblically guard their most powerful natural weapon - the mind. This study will take participants on a powerful journey of spiritual growth and inward transformation, equipping them to protect their minds from destructive, ungodly, and distracting thoughts that can influence emotions, desires, decisions, and behaviors. For some, the mental struggle is inward, while for others it is outward. Either way, the constant noise, pressure, temptation, fear and deception to which many Christ followers are faced daily require an intentional approach to guarding what they allow to take root in their minds. In this class, participants will learn how to recognize toxic thought patterns, reject the enemy’s lies, renew their minds with Truth, and cultivate a thought life that reflects faith, peace, purity, and spiritual maturity. More than behavior modification, this study calls Christ followers into true inner transformation - strengthening mental discipline, sharpening discernment, and developing a mind that remains stayed on God.
