Napa Valley College's Community Education is offered throughout the Napa Valley with administrative offices located in St. Helena at the Upper Valley Campus. The program is comprised of workshops, fee-based classes, noncredit (no-fee) classes, educational trips and tours, special events, and short-term vocational training programs. Enjoy a variety of classes to choose from in subject areas such as the arts, writing, culinary arts, gardening/outdoors, computer literacy, modern languages and ESL.

FREE or Noncredit, low fee classes offered at Napa Valley College Main Campus, online or the St. Helena campus for the public and people of all ages and backgrounds.

This noncredit course provides older adults with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the visual arts through the study of various artistic techniques, tools and materials. Please note, this is a 2D Visual Art Studio course. The techniques covered include painting, drawing and collage, a variety of hands-on projects; students will also explore the role of art in current and past cultures.
