Overview

Learn more about the LGBTQIA+ history of the Monadnock region and New Hampshire in this virtual talk with Dr. Holly Cashman of UNH!

How do the lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community in the Monadnock region compare with those in the rest of New Hampshire? Dr. Holly Cashman, the co-coordinator of Queer Studies at the University of New Hampshire, will share her insights on the Historical Society of Cheshire County's Voices of Pride Oral History Project in the context of the state's history. Participants will have the opportunity to ask Dr. Cashman questions about her conclusions and the Voices of Pride Project.

Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the program.

This program is generously sponsored by The Putnam Foundation, New Hampshire Humanities, Keene Pride, Bellows Falls Pride, and the LGBT National Help Center.
