Warren Wayfinders Series 2026 - Walk 3

This event is the third in a series of guided walks meant to introduce elementary-aged kids and their families to local options for getting outside. By taking walks in and around Warren County, we aim to increase folks' comfort in and appreciation of nature, right in our own backyard.

For this event, we will meet at the Medoc Mountain State Park playground starting at 9:30am. Folks can grab snacks, sunscreen, and bugspray; and then introductions and park overview will begin at 10am. After we're all introduced, we'll walk an easy loop trail that will take us along Fishing Creek, up and down a few gentle hills, and back to where we started. We'll discuss the history and unique geology of Medoc Mountain and keep an eye out for fun plants and animals!
