🌲 The West Virginia Outdoor Expo — Basecamp of the Monongahela National Forest

Two full days celebrating everything that makes the Mountain State wild. The Railyard in downtown Elkins becomes the gathering place for outdoor lovers, local outfitters, and adventure-seekers of every age — and admission is FREE.

Explore seven outdoor disciplines under one roof: hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, camping, paddling, and riding.

What's happening all weekend:

🎯 Live Stage Demos — Vendors demonstrate gear, share tips, and showcase destinations throughout the day.

🎁 Prizes & Giveaways — Drawings all weekend. Early Bird Prize drawn at 12pm on Aug 8 (must be present to win).

🦃 Turkey Calling Contest — Sat, Aug 8 at 2pm. A community fun event — all ages and skill levels welcome. Presented by Josh McGrath, Broker · Better Homes Central · 304-635-SOLD.

🤝 Meet the Outfitters — Connect with local guides, gear shops, and adventure providers from across the region.

🍻 Food & Drinks — On-site food and beverages, including beer, as you explore.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Friendly — Hands-on activities, kids welcome, and experiences for every age.
