Westinghouse Park Tree ID Hike
Part of the Tree ID Guided Hike Series collection
Overview
Join your Pittsburgh Park Rangers for a guided tree identification walk in Westinghouse Park!
Enjoy a ranger-led walk in Westinghouse Park as we learn how to identify the trees that make up our landscape.
Previously the estate of George Westinghouse, Westinghouse Park became a certified arboretum in 2021. It has more than 175 trees, representing 38 individual species.
We will meet in front of the building (painted blue) and make our way around the park, stopping intermittently to discuss the trees along our path and how we can correctly identify them.
Come enjoy the outdoors and learn something new with your Pittsburgh Park Rangers!
