Wild Oyster Project's Monthly Volunteer Work Day (East Bay)

Wild Oyster Project's Monthly Volunteer Work Day (East Bay)

Overview

Meet Wild Oyster Project every second sunday of the month and help us with various projects, like oyster shell recycling!

About:

Join us the second Sunday of every month from 10am-1pm at the REAP Climate Center in Alameda and learn about the power of oysters!

Through our Save Your Shucks program, these shells will play a key role in rebuilding oyster reefs and supporting a healthy Bay ecosystem!

Volunteers will help us with tasks such as shell moving, painting buckets for our restaurants and oyster monitoring. Come by and help our Bay waters!

Before you come:

Be sure to wear SPF and dress casually in clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Work gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Sea you there!🦪
