Worry, Worry, Worry & How to Manage It
Part of the National Wellbeing Week 2026 collection
Overview
Learn simple, practical ways to reduce worry and deal with problems more effectively in everyday life.
Wendy Armitage, Staff Wellbeing Development Lead at Midlothian HSCP will lead this session.
While worry is a normal part of being human, it can cause distress, anxiety, and unease. Worry is caused by thoughts focusing on the past or the future, fear, and uncertainty. Often it isn’t the situation which causes worry but the sense that we will be unable to cope.
This short session will introduce participants to techniques to reduce the impact of worry and find practical ways to deal with problems.
