WWE Washington State: Coal Mines Trail Bike Ride

**PLEASE NOTE AN EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. Responding as “Going” to this event on Facebook does not reserve a spot; you must register on Eventbrite in order to attend this event.*

Join us for a mellow bike ride from Cle Elum to Roslyn on the historic Coal Mines Trail with a stop at a local coffee shop Basecamp Books & Bites in Roslyn. The trail is approximately 7 miles, 324 feet elevation gain and rated as easy. Expect a casual, laid-back pace with focus on socializing and making new friends!

Location/Time: Coal Mines Trail Trailhead, 10 am - extra parking at Flagpole park across the street if needed

Ride Distance: Approx. 7 miles & 324 feet elevation gain

Duration: Approximately 3 hours

Bikes: Gravel/Mountain Bike

WHAT TO BRING

• 10 essentials
• Bike & helmet
• Full water supply for day & snacks
• Appropriate layers for weather
• Appropriate shoes for biking
• Money for coffee/snacks at coffee shop if you would like to purchase something
• Sun protection - sunscreen, sunglasses
  

Due to local guidelines and regulations, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event. Each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite.

In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lex or Brittany directly!

*PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get-together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.*

EVENT GUIDELINES FOR SICKNESS:

Please be mindful of other members attending the events. If you have developed cold or flu-like

symptoms leading up to the event, please cancel your spot in Eventbrite and notify the ambassador

hosting the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending

when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as

possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the

event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
