Come explore the Alpine Lakes Wilderness! The hike offers a slow & steady incline through a forest with scenic views. 🌲 Bring snacks/lunch to enjoy at the lakes.

Location/Time: Talapus Lake Trailhead, 9am

Ride Distance: Approx. 6 miles & 1,210 feet elevation gain

Duration: Approximately 3-4 hours

WHAT TO BRING

10 essentials

Northwest Forest Pass for parking ($5 day e-pass option available via QR code at trailhead)

Full water supply for day & snacks

Appropriate layers for weather

Sun protection - sunscreen, sunglasses

Due to local guidelines and regulations, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event. Each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite.

In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lex directly!

*PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get-together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.*

EVENT GUIDELINES FOR SICKNESS:

Please be mindful of other members attending the events. If you have developed cold or flu-like

symptoms leading up to the event, please cancel your spot in Eventbrite and notify the ambassador

hosting the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending

when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as

possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the

event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join.
