YAX Summer Art Camps

Overview

Summer 2026 Art Camps for rising 3rd–5th graders! June 29–July 24, 9am–4pm, SF. Scholarships for SFUSD students available

Youth Art Exchange’s Summer 2026 Art Camps provide a fun, creative, and supportive environment for rising 3rd-5th graders to explore art, imagination, and storytelling. Campers will engage in hands-on projects like printmaking, world-building, illustration, and creative writing, led by experienced teaching artists.

Camps run Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm, at 2330 San Jose Avenue, San Francisco (next to Balboa Park Station) and are offered in weekly sessions throughout the summer:

  • Print the City: June 29 – July 2
  • Dream Portals: July 6 – July 10 (No camp July 4)
  • Build Your Own Planet: July 13 – July 17
  • Magic of Storytelling: July 20 – July 24

At Youth Art Exchange, we believe every young artist should have the chance to create. Racial equity and financial need-based scholarships are available so all families can join the fun.
