Summer programs for kids ages 6-12 to learn about the natural world.

The perfect biweekly program for kids to become scientists this summer! Each session will examine a different aspect of nature. This week’s theme is entomology, come learn all about insects and the important roles they play in our ecosystem. 🐞🐜🦗🕷️All materials will be provided. Please dress tick-safe (pants tucked into long socks) and be ready for a short hike.WHEN: Wednesday, August 28th, 10am-12pm.WHERE: Nature Interpretive Center. Please use our address to navigate to the park: 2351 Veterans Road West, Staten Island, NY 10309.WHO: Ages 6-12.All programs are free! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
