Youth Archery Workshop

ThePennypack Environmental Centerresides on the land of theLenape, and was originally dedicated as a bird sanctuary in 1958. Today, the Center has an outdoor amphitheater, exhibits, a reference library, and campfire and picnic areas. Interested in learning how to shoot archery?  Join the PA Game Commission and PEC  staff for a hands-on lesson. Ages 12-17. $5 per person.

<h2>Join <a href="https://www.swglobetimes.com/mentored-hunting-in-southwest-philadelphia/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Haley Phillips</a>, <a href="https://www.pgc.pa.gov/Pages/default.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Pennsylvania Game Commission</a> Wildlife Education Technician, and PEC&#x27;s <a href="https://phillynaturehoods.wixsite.com/phillynaturehoods/stephanierobinson" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stephanie Robinson</a> for a hands-on introductory archery lesson.  Instructors are <a href="https://www.usarchery.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">USA Archery</a> certified and will teach young archers about equipment, shooting, safety, and more. </h2><h2>Ages 12-17.  </h2><h2>1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Drop-off. </h2><h2>$5 per teen. </h2><h2>Equipment provided.</h2><p>Parking is available at the center with additional street parking.  </p><p>The center, bathrooms, and picnic areas are all accessible, however, the trails are rocky and uneven. </p><p>Photos will be taken of participants during this program for use by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Pennypack Environmental Center and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation.
