RISE Hiking Collaborative is a Maryland based non-profit organization with a mission to inspire, engage, and provide opportunities and resources that support equitable access for underrepresented women and girls to the outdoors for recreation, environmental education, stewardship, and advocacy. We operate Black Women Hiking the DMV, our signature adult program, which has created exceptional outdoor adventures through hiking, camping, backpacking, and more, since 2020.
