Thomas Paine Historical Association
Thomas Paine was a man with nine lives and then some! He is the father of modern democracy, a great humanitarian, a supreme statesman, and a bold visionary. The Thomas Paine Historical Association, headquarted in New Rochelle, NY, is the oldest historic association for the Father of the Age of Democratic Revolutions, established in 1884. We are the authority on the life, works, and legacy of Paine, and have been assisting scholars and authors for decades. Today, more than ever—in the times that try all our souls—his works must be shared widely so that all can learn from them and be inspired by his brilliance and vision. We invite you to explore our website, join our events and consider joining us as a TPHA member.
