The mission and vision of Transcendence is to present professional choral performances that inspire, cultivate, and transform lives through vocal artistry and musical excellence.

Members of Transcendence come from all over the country and are highly skilled, versatile professional choral singers. While the chorus was initially founded in 2022 by Rossi in Erie, Pennsylvania, Transcendence has now established a new home base as the first all-professional chorus in Virginia Beach, Virginia where Rossi grew up. ​

The ensemble performs a wide range of select choral works spanning the globe from early classics to contemporary works including choral settings by living composers and world premiere performances.

What Makes Us Unique? As a non-profit 501c3, Transcendence functions exclusively on donations and grants from generous patrons. Why? We do so, in order to provide concerts free to the public as a way of fostering a long-standing tradition since the Middle Ages when cathedrals and churches offered such concerts free to the public. Providing free admission to the public will also offer a way to reach so many who would not be able to experience a live professional performance due to their financial and economic constraints.
