Andrew Arboe: Autistic Self-Advocate and Speaker
Andrew Arboe is an autistic self-advocate with a professional work background consisting of public and private schools, nonprofits, and online programs. He decided to go into human services and education because of his experiences in special education and aging out of it to find little resources for young adults. It is why Andrew works in places like the FOCUS Center for Autism and Anderson Center for Autism as his brand represents his public speaking and contracting services for any provider. Andrew served on the boards of Disability Rights Connecticut, ANNA, The Autism Project, and the Neurodiversity Employment Network. Finally, Andrew graduated from Manchester Community College with an associate degree as a Disability Specialist and Charter Oak State College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
