Sea Soil Sky
Sea.Soil.Sky is a storytelling and fieldwork studio dedicated to connecting people, industry, and the natural world.
Founded by environmental biologist and writer Gisa Seeholzer and wildlife cinematographer Matt Drake, we work at the intersection of ecology, narrative, and impact—translating complex environmental practices into stories that are clear, compelling, and deeply felt.
We partner with organizations, land stewards, and increasingly, corporations and manufacturing industries who are committed to sustainability, regenerative practices, and responsible resource use.
Our role is to bridge the gap between what is being done and what is understood.
Through documentary film, photography, and written storytelling, we help bring transparency, credibility, and emotional resonance to work that often goes unseen—from regenerative agriculture and conservation efforts to evolving industrial practices.
Because today’s audiences are not just looking for claims.
They are looking for truth they can feel and trust.
Our work is grounded in both science and story—capturing ecosystems, species, and human effort with accuracy, care, and narrative depth.
At its core, Sea.Soil.Sky believes that meaningful change happens through connection:
Connection to land.
Connection to process.
Connection to responsibility.
And when those connections are visible, they have the power to shift perception, build trust, and move industries forward.
