The Lavender Mic Poetry Slam is a monthly reoccurring slam, where 10 poets compete for a $100 cash prize. The Lavender Mic aims to highlight queer and marginalized voices, as well as bring the community together for a night of creativity, togetherness and inspiration. Hosted by B the poet, and supported by Townhall Collaborative, The Lavender Mic features well-known poets from across the country, as well as highlights local poets that compete regularly in the community!
