Big Thompson Watershed Coalition

Big Thompson Watershed Coalition

The Big Thompson Watershed Coalition (BTWC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the health and resilience of the Big Thompson watershed in Northern Colorado. We bring together landowners, local communities, conservation partners, and government agencies to implement innovative projects that improve water quality, restore river and forest ecosystems, and reduce risks from floods and wildfires.

BTWC hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including educational workshops, volunteer restoration days, community engagement events, and fundraising gatherings. Whether you're looking to get your hands dirty planting seedlings in a burned area, learn about wildfire mitigation, or connect with others who care about watershed health, our events offer opportunities for all to get involved.
