Mission Trails Regional Park
Operated and maintained by the City of San Diego, Mission Trails Regional Park encompasses more than 8,000 acres of both natural and developed recreational areas. Its rugged hills, valleys, and open areas, only eight miles from downtown San Diego, provide a quick, natural escape from the urban hustle and bustle. An award-winning Visitor and Interpretive Center, 60 miles of trails, boating and fishing on Lake Murray, camping at Kumeyaay Lake, and many informative nature hikes offer something for every visitor.
